ChatGPT · Public-data Actions
Ask Fin-node in ChatGPT
The API package is available. A Custom GPT has not yet been created or published in your account.
Connect the existing public data
- Open the ChatGPT GPT editor and create a GPT named Fin-node Research.
- In Actions, import this schema URL: https://fin-node-research.vercel.app/gpt/openapi.json.
- Choose Authentication: None. These endpoints serve already-public data. Never enter a database password, management token or privileged key.
- Copy the GPT instructions into the GPT’s Instructions field.
- Test coverage first, then all eight Actions, and review answers before sharing the GPT.
Add DevPulse technology research
Keep the eight existing public Actions. Add a second Action by importing the DevPulse schema. Configure API Key authentication with custom header apikey, using only the separate serving project’s publishable key. Never use its secret key or database password.
Append the DevPulse instructions to the existing GPT instructions. Test get_tech_coverage, get_tech_trends and map_company_exposure in the editor before sharing.
Questions to test
- Which companies does Fin-node cover, and when were the snapshots updated?
- How did Microsoft cash capex change from the preceding comparable quarter?
- Which earnings beats coincided with a falling share price? Show the sample sizes.
- How did a $1,000 investment compare with SPY over matching dates?
- What insider valuation data is missing? Do we have evidence of a trading plan?
What this version can substantiate
Dated public ticker snapshots, capex, EPS history, news, secondary-source insider aggregates and historical-return comparisons. It cannot substantiate supplier payment attribution, management-guidance outcomes, complete Form 4 history or automatic personal alerts. Those require the separate evidence dataset.
This is a Custom GPT Actions package, not a published MCP plugin. Account-level GPT creation and editor evaluation are still required.
